But the national insurance limit has moved up to the upper tax limit. And the starting rate income tax band has been removed. I think overall almost everybody is slightly worse off.

Well my extra £56 a year from the reduction in my Income Tax should cover the £2 increase nicely then!

Well Rigor, being the bright light you are, you should know that old style tax bands are not down to economy, but cubic kerrrr-pacity. We can't help it if Suzuki were feeling generous...
