I used to be a self employed ethernet-crimping-Linux using/installing geek.

I make no secret of that either, that's what paid for my house (well, guranteed me a mortgage). Now I'm a resident code monkey. In Java no less.

If you can't make a router out of a 286 & a floppy, there's something wrong with you! :lol:

Now I'll just sit here waiting for the obligitory "jock" mis-quoting to start :) & the "real programmers" to abuse the language.

Well, you'e okay by me. I saw a film last night about your types. There were these 300 geek blokes who had a bit of a set to with a horde of Persians.

The lesson I learnt from this, was not to trust hunchbacks .... oh, and not to drink fizzy drink to early on in the film.

Fair enough, but for any that take the bait, be prepared to also bite when I throw in C/C++/Fortran/Cobol/ABAP (SAP), plus other things like VB (another easy target) & TP (which I was "taught" at college & that's the last time I used it). ;) Oh yea, don't forget scripting languages too whilst you're there, like Python/Perl/PHP.
