windscreen concept - does anyone make something similar??

I made this a few days ago and was wondering if anyone knows of a company that makes something similar...I got the basic idea from a triumph speed triple aftermarket screen, but obviously it wouldn't work with the sv650 since it has a dual headlight configuration

Even something like what a nighthawk 700s uses, but with plastic that will work with a round headlight...though I would prefer a sportier and more modern look if possible.

basically I'm looking for a bit of wind protection at speeds above 50mph, but not a flyscreen because I don't want my bike to look like a harley.

Don't know about over there, but If I was going to do something like that I'd make up a plug (the shape in wood or something) and get my brother to put it threw a vaccum former, could have a nice "one off", do you know anyone at a tech collage they normally have this kind of stuff.

Cheers Mark.

Puig makes one similar to your drawing for K3-K7Ns, called a touring screen, that works with the stock colored bits, and works pretty well at wind deflection. I just put mine on before leaving for a three month job 1K miles away from home and do not have a good pic (nice enough to give a test run, but too cloudy for a good pic). I could post a dingy garage pic, but not a real good one. I know others on the site have this screen, maybe someone could post

I'll try to find it...the nicest one I've seen so far is from Givi...and it's still isn't that close to what I want

Well yeah, but the points would be slightly rounder if I actually created a real one. The points would still be quite pointy though, I think it helps make the screen look less like a cruiser and keep with the SV's sporting image.

I might try the vaccuum former idea. Don't know many people in college, but maybe I'll find somebody with access to it. I might be able to DIY something too...but I definitely need something better than no screen...

Anyone tried this screen...not exactly what I want...but if it blocks enough wind and I can fasten it for quick release I might try it out...
