Deauville spark plug remover.

Long shot I know. Does anyone have one?

I can only change two of the four plugs with the tools that I have. It would appear that I need the exact tool for the job.

Cheers

And has the cheek to have a pop at my Italian exotica F-18 WARRIOR ;)

Got a 2lb club hammer, that'll get em out, no problem :)

Cheers Mark.

You know what :?: I think you may be right. Trouble is, I was rather hoping to put new ones back in and for it to still work.

From what I remember from when I was at work, even our mechanics hated changing plugs on a Divvy.;)

Sorry, I'm being as much help as Rictus really aren't I.

I had a VT500C for a little bit which is essentially the same block. I found that a plug socket and 3/8" extension bar sorted it out ok for me but the frame could be getting in the way on yours I guess.

The biggest giggle was when a plug dropped back in and wedged, needed a magnet on a flexi tube to get that back out....

I have plenty of different sized spark plug removing tools. The issue that I have is that for the correct size in mm the thickness of the tool is too big to fit down the well.

Not sure if I explained my self properly there.

I seem to remember having no trouble getting them out using a 3/8 socket set, the tricky bit was getting the thread putting them back in again down that deep hole. I seem to remember starting them off by using a piece of hose instead of a socket, since you cant cross thread that way.

The issue is not the socket. I have loads of them. The issue is that for the correct mm socket that I require, the actual size of the outer circumfrance is too big to go down into the well. It needs to be very slim in order to fit down there.
