Hyperpros question?

Hi All

I've decided to opt for the Hyperpros after trawling the archives and reading up on the different options. But, looking through the archives it seems that a few people have had to cut the spacers to get the springs to fit, whilst some haven't? My understanding is hyperpros are normally a drop in replacment?

In one post it seems that JHS Racing send out Hyperpro springs which are for the later model and need the spacers cutting to fit? Is this where the confusion arises? If so why do they send out the later springs and not the correct springs for the earlier model?

I'd rather have the correct springs that keep the spacers intact in case I ever wanted to revert to oem set up at sale time etc.

Or have I got this all wrong? http://forums.sv650.org/images/icons/icon11.gif

JHS will send you out the spacers you need for your bike. tell them what you need & they'll send them

in any case, spacers are just lengths of steel tube, nothing more than that. you could probably get OEM replacements for a fiver

I have some steel inserts from a Bros that would probably fit thinking about it. Anyway, i've ordered them up from Calsport now for £97 delivered. Very helpful guy there who also told me they (Hyperpro) do a rear spring for the Sv too. Says it takes away that "hinged" feeling! Made I larf that did. he said if I sent the shock to them they'd fit the spring for free too!
