Pointy Rear LED Query

the rear light seems to have two vertical stacks of seven (?) LEDs.

is it correct that the bottom 4 light up 'dim' for the tail light, and all of them light up 'bright' for the brake light?

TIA folks

All should be on when the tail light is on, and i think all of them light up bright on brake activation. i have never eally paid much attention to them.

I know if the idle speed is too low then the tail only lights up the bottom few rows, so that could be a good start point??

I think they should all be either dim or bright i.e. all dim when not braking and all bright when braking.

I noticed that the either the top or the bottom (can't remember which) were dim when my bike came out of a 6 hibernation for winter. Struck me as odd until I tried to start the bike and realised the battery was low. Never seen it since the battery was fully charged.

Most of the replies have missed the point of this post (Except a few like admin)
When on tail light the top few of mine (same both sides) are dimmer than the bottom ones. (On Brake light they seem to be as bright as each other).
Glad I'm not the only one then, thanks Sticks

You should find that the top 3 are actually lit, but very dim?
