Thanks to Suicide Sam for suggesting Adtrader. A buyer from a dealer bought it. Kept a couple of the extras & so should end up with a few £££ more.

Thanks for the help folks, intend coming on a rideout on the Ducati sometime.

Advice please..............had my bonny yellow curvy advertised on here for a couple of weeks,........2 enquiries, no visits to see.:(

Before I had my 'off' last year I advertised it in the 'Courier' which attracted 1 phone call. Last year several folk nation-wide were struggling to sell curvies.

If I can get somebody who's interested in coming to see it, it'll sell, I'm sure.

But where's the best shop window folks?

In case anyone suggests, I can't take it anywhere,- not taxed & I'm not insured for it.

I put mine in MCN in the end... Got loads of enquiries from ad agencies  But I did get enough real interest to shift the bike, despite it being rotten (and no, didn't hide it, the first thing I did with the buyer was tell them what was wrong to get it out the way)

I think Autotrader's getting more into bikes now?

2 x classified ads I think, 1 on Ebay and 1 in Bike (Auto)Trader. The net version of Auto Trader gives you national publicity which you might need. I mean, how many weirdos who want a yellow curvy can there be...

Buying Mrs Tiger's CBR we fannied about with bids on auction style Ebay ads but in the end we used a 200 mile search on Auto Trader and Bob was, in a very real way, your uncle.

Fire an ad on the freebie site Adtrader co uk.. get to put a pic on there, and it will get printed in the Yellow/Blue paper's next edition. Sold my curvy through it. :(
Gumtree as Kitkat said, not that well known.. but it's free and it has seperate Edinburgh & Glasgow bits for more local stuff (where i found my Bandit ;) )
