hi guys..anyone know anything about coloured brake fluid? can you get it and is it safe..? would look pretty cool in blue or red i reckon...:smt033

dot 5 is purple

Carefull what you stick in the reservoir. It must be compatible with the seals otherwise you will end up screwing the whole system and ending up with NO BRAKES.

i have got luminous yellow in mine, put in by a main dealer after a service as well.

does it really mattter as you can only see a tiny bit in the resivoir anyway!

Get a sweatband & put it on your reservoir

thanks guys for the replies...is dot 5 ok to use? thought it had to be dot 4..?:scratch: have heard of putting food dye in to colour but don't think i'll chance that..!;)

You really need to take everything apart and clean it before you switch to dot 5 which will take some time
