Try Bennetts, I got a quote of £190 TPFT as my first bike and this was parked off the street. I have 3 points and a claim against me aswell.

cheapest isn't always best. check out EXACTLY what is included, some insurers include loads more stuff as standard than others. i passed my test 2 months ago and carole nash have given the best quote by miles.

Buy MCN or any other bike mag.

Theres loads of adverts for insurers in the back of them, ring round them all till you get the best price.

its a very tedious process, about the most boring part of bike ownership im afraid, but ring round, get some quotes online, try ebikeinsurance. they always seem to offer good rates. and as sarah said make sure you know what you're getting for your money

oh PS congratulations on passing the test

I'm insured with Axa through Swinton - cheapest quote with the most extras too!

problem is its gonna be £300 + with axa because they class a metal shed as "on the driveway" and its soooo not. every insurance company i go to quote axa as being the cheapest, so somehow got to find a cheapish company that doesnt underwrite using axa.
why cant it be nice and simple

I'm insured with this company, through a broker in bexleyheath - I forget their name, Western something or other I think. They were far and away the cheapest for my Daytona.

Sometimes worth phoning any existing car insurance company, some of them are giving discounts on more than one policy etc. The cage is with norwich union and due to 7+ year no claims (most of which with them) they gave a free two years no claims on the bike and another 10% or so.
