Big Cats

I bought Mrs Vox a 'Feed the Big Cats' experience for her birthday & as I know we have a few animal lovers on the Org, I thought I'd post a few of the pics.

Feeding ROCKY a little snack

Not even at full stretch !!

http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t...x/IMG_0290.jpg
ROCKY : "Listen, I'm having that piece of meat with or without your hand attached" !!

http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t...x/IMG_0301.jpg
NARNIA showing her ladylike 'table' manners !!

http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t...x/IMG_0303.jpg
ROCKY showing his appreciation for the snacks

http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t...x/IMG_0314.jpg
This wasn't advertised as part of the package but as you can see Mrs V didn't mind !! (The keeper was keeping a serious eye on Narnia as she can get extremely jealous sometimes !!)

http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t...x/IMG_0310.jpg
ROCKY & NARNIA chilling out after their snacks (No, I didn't get in the enclosure - the keeper stuck my camera through the bars  )

And finally, from L to R :-

Jordan, Mrs Vox & Alex enjoying the Jumbo Slide in the 'Jungle Gym'

I can thoroughly recommend this as a present to anyone who likes big cats & indeed the whole park in general to anyone who has kids (Paradise Wildlife Park, Broxbourne, Herts) - the only tip I would give is take your own food - it was expensive & naff (except for the cakes in the Jungle Gym area :D )

I booked it with :-

http://www.thanksdarling.com - just look for the 'Animal Magic' section then 'Talk to the Animals'

There is a lower age limit - no under 16's.

I never really appreciated how big they actually are - check this pic out :-

The keeper (about 6ft tall) is standing on the outer guard rail (just over 3 ft in height) & ROCKY can still reach the snack !!
