New Jets???

I have a Scorpion can fitted (Love it), if the baffle is fitted under the seat will I need to get the carbs rejetted or will the mixture be within acceptable limits. I want the sound but I dont want to cause any possible damage, running problems due to poor fueling. I have the standard air filter fitted.
Thanks..........

I trawled the archives over this as i have a Renegade race can fitted to my bike. Seems most folk don't change the jets. So maybe the SV is running a little rich to start with?

I checked my plugs and they do look fine. However, I've always maintained if you alter the way the fuel comes out then you need to alter the way it goes in. So I'll probably get mine set up on a dyno at some point.

You won't need to change jetting with a slip on. Bike will run fine on standard jets and filter.

Dyno centre if you're concerned though, shouldn't cost more than £40 to get it sorted properly.

By the way, checking plugs doesn't tell you much at all with modern fuels. There are plenty of cleaning additives in fuel which would make your bike look like it's running ok even when rich as stink.
