Thinking of an R6 front end..........
I've read a few threads on here about how easy the gixer front end is to fit to the sv, but I want to keep away from Suzuki as my bike is only 3 years old and the yoke is already rusty.:(
Was thinking of an R6 front end.:) Possibly even USD forks if they're not too expensive. Has anyone done this or know how compatible it would be? |

Re: Thinking of an R6 front end..........
Not sure about the R6 front end bt I'm pretty sure that some of the svrider guys have fitted R1 front ends (onto curvey sv not sure about the pointy ones)
How about instead of possibly having a lot of grief with fitting R6 stuff get gixxer stuff and maybe get things anodised or a similar coating so that it doesn't rust |

If you got the suzuki route SRAD/GSXR yokes are aluminium top and bottom!

Re: Thinking of an R6 front end..........
I've heard that R1 calipers are a straight swap for Gixxer calipers and much better (you'd need to check which years)
