Yellow SV650S Stolen in Swords Dublin
 

Hi folks,

Biker mate from another forum had her Yellow SV stolen from outside her house yesterday evening. Four guys lifted it into in a red Renault van and took off. Luckily a witness got the reg of the van...here's the details of the van and bike:

Stolen in Swords, Dublin at approximately 10:20 pm on Wednesday 30th May:
Yellow Suzuki SV650S
Registration 01 D 93709
Bike also has a Givi back box rack

Thieves drove a Red Renault Master Van 2.5L Diesel, registration 99 MH 3431. Van had writing similar to 'M-B-WASH...' on the side.

If you could keep a look out for the van/bike it would be much appreciated.

As it turns out this story does have a happy ending. The thieving scum were thick enough to use their own van so the Guards had a fairly easy time tracking them down. Hopefully they'll get a wee stint of free accomodation courtesy of the State....

Bike is recovered with a broken brake lever and pedal but apart from that seems to be ok. Prob just a low speed drop and crash bungs did their job :D

So for once - its a happy ending! :cool:

Great to see a happy ending for a chance except one thing, when they dropped the bike its a pity it was not ontop of one of the tealeaf bas----s
