Clicking noise after fitting new exhaust

After fitting a new exhaust on my z750 a clicking noise has developed at around 4-6k when the engine is under load.

It sound like it is coming from the top end, someone else on the z750 forum has also found this noise. Noise disappears after 6k and i dont think it is just being drowned out by wind noise. Engine still makes good power.

Could this be a problem, it definatley started after the new exhaust was fitted.

I suppose the way to confirm would be put the old 'zorst back on. Odd though. I suppose it's possible the new 'zorst is causing the engine to run a little lean and it's knocking at that rev range (air/fuel ratios can vary quite a bit at different revs)? I'd still put that scenario as a pretty rare event though. Guess if this were the case a power commander could sort it out.
