SV1000 belly pan compatibility with sv650

Hi ive got the pointy shaped sv650, and ive been offered a belly pan off a sv1000, its the genuine suzuki item and i want to know if it will fit my 650, if not is there any way to get it to fit,
Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm pretty sure the seat cowl on the pointy thou is the same part number as the 650, but I'd seriously doubt the belly pan is - on the 650 at least the official pan fits to the engine cases at the front and the bottom rear engine mount bolt at the back. Can see these being in very different locations on a thou. Unless you're handy with metal fabrication of course, then I guess new brackets could be made...

Yeh i thought that might be a problem, might buy it anyway and see what has to be done to fit it, he only wants £40 for it and it is in gd condition and it is bronze the same colour as my bike, so I might just buy it and try it.

The SVThou bellypan is way too wide and the pipes get in the way.

Not worth the hassle.

Accidentally picket up an SVThou bellypan so have tried it on a SV650
