Found this vid on Gixerjunkes. Got talking to these 2 guys on gixxers and one in a silver scooby. They videod themselves doing a lap and I star in it for about 2 minutes (from 4:00 to about 6:02). At first I was following my mate who'd never done the ring so was pootling round but once I saw 2 gixxers approaching I quickened my pace a bit and managed to hold off the scooby and gixxers for a little bit but then let them pass coming upto the first carousel. Seeing as this was my 2nd only lap ever I though I did quite well. Modest, aren't I!!!

In black on a white hornet although it's a bit blurry. Well chuffed with how I got on to be honest, looks a lot slower than it felt but got 155 indicated down the long straight before hitting the anchors for the barrier. The guy videoing it even comments about my sparky knee sliders, shame you can't see them that well.

Well, I couldn't go all the way there and not get my knee down. I think I did most bends but I wasn't actaully trying to, I just wanted to get through the bend as quick as possible which meant hanging off a fair bit. Was all good, am trying to organise another trip there before the end of the year.

In honour of Blue Steel, who isn't around these parts any more, can I just express my disapointment that a video of you "on the ring" is not what I expected...
