GSXR/SV1000 Calipers On SV650-Adapter Plates

Ok.... finally had the time to get this sorted(prototype).
http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=85140

At the moment the the SV caliper bolts can be used to attach the plates but that might change(if I decide to increase the thickness at the area). That being the case, I'll be using some stainless steel bolts as replacements.

Final version would be better finished as will be CNC machined. Prototype was done manually. Anyone interested?

Calipers that will work with the plates are GSXR 600/750 K1-K3 and SV1000 K3 on.

Price is looking to be about £65 Max plus the postage.

I like, what's the going price on a set of calipers? Really need a bit more from the brakes after having a go on my old mans speed triple 1050! Will they run on standard disks? I take it they will cover both curvy and pointy?

is there an ETA on the finished products?

Ipicked up a set of gixxer 750 k1 calipers for about £40 off ebay

yes they will work on standard discs and the curvey and pointy use the same calipers

Good price that. Any chance of a pic? Indeed having been looking at where improvements can be made. Mounts differently (better IMO) than the ones that are no longer available.

This does mean though a bit more machining and careful measurements to get the mounting area size I would be happy with ie minimum of 10mm thickness but you having got plenty of room to play with so has to be very much bang on.

It would have been better if one could get away with just one side needing to be stepped but I think the only way to acheive the above and still look nice is having both sides stepped.

..and correct yoo are, Billy ;)
