Unbelievable, a car pulls across a bike to go in a fuel station, bike and rider go 20m through the air, both vehicles written off. It's all on CCTV. Rider in hospital and the cops take the idiot drivers word for it he did nothing wrong!! Even when the camera clearly shows him driving into the poor bike.

They have a laugh and a joke and he's let off. He'd also been drinking, under the limit though. I hope the biker sued his chav **** off.

I disagree on one point. The CCTV footage shown doesn't clearly show anything. It's far too vague & it's all split second action. Blink & you'd miss the bike all together!!

However, for them to just take his word & not even bother asking for witnesses etc is laughable.

Also, the end of the show, the car driver wasn't insured. Why the crap wasn't this caught by the cops at the scene? The biker recovered but never got his costs back?!?! How unlucky is that! I can only assume he wasn't covered fully comprehensive.

TBH the bike looked like he was going waaaaay too fast especially as the rider ended up 20m away... I'd say 50/50 blame here.

On these programs almost everyone they stop is driving uninsured- and the penalties are tiny. So much so I wonder why I pay through my teeth for it :(

My Dad reckons the guy was a physical training instructor (he was one in the RAF) and since it was filmed in Portsmouth, my money would be on the Navy. Having said that, I would have to hope he just bought the sweatshirt in a charity shop because if that man is an RN NCO then gawd help us!

And how come the polite lad (uninsured) got his Escort crushed and the SMIDSY tw*t got hee haw?
