bike customising

need you input peeps

thinking about putting 2 white stripes down the middle or me sv like northwind's (sorry for copying but it looks to good not to), then possibly some white rim tape stuff but cant make up my mind, it will be free as my dad does it

don't really want to bring my bikes value down though

That's the problem with modifying your bike - a standard bike appeals to a much wider market when you come to sell it.

White stripes may not be too bad.

Northwind doesn't own the rights to stripes.

If you don't want it to be permanent, maybe a decal place could knock up some stick-on stripes?

I was hardly the first either... Though it's got a wee bit more common on SVs since I did it  It's sort of like Radiohead and Muse, someone told Thom Yorke once that they thought Muse had ripped off Radiohead, and he answered "Nah, we just both ripped off Jeff Buckley" ;)

Mine's done in paint, because I wanted the colourmatch and effect of the painted frame, but vinyl is really the sensible way to do it and totally reversible of course. The tank's going to be a total sod to do, the tail end is has loads of curves going in all directions- it was a nightmare to mask, even proper detailing vinyl will be tricky.

well it will be either one thick stripe or 2 little one about 20mm wide i can virtually anything i want because my dad does it. i was thinking about some sort full blown body vinyl but i don't really want to go to extreme, when i get my fairing lowers i might get SV650S written in crome or my forum name:D

bye the way northwind are you stripes sliver?
