05 sv 650 not starting please guys i have 3 days.
 
Okay guys I’m new to the forums but I really need some help.

05sv 650 none sport.

Took a trip to the bank when I was inside some ******* backed into me and knocked my bike over, now it will not start, cant even get it to turn… I have pulled almost everything off the bike to check connections (but I know there are some that I am missing) and have checked the fuse.

Any information will help and if you can include pics that would be awesome.

I have 3 days to get this bike running or im SOL

Please guys anything will help.

P.S I have done a search on this type of thing.

I take it that you have ignition lights etc on the dash ?

If so at a guess it Sounds like either the switch that detects whether the clutch is in or not is knackered or your side stand switch is knackered.

Have a search for those particular items and you'll be able to find some info on how to bypass those switches.

Oh I wouldnt go that far :oops: I've read enough threads to know that when a bike gets knocked over sometimes it goes down on the clutch lever which upsets the switch same with the side stand.

But still I would like to thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I am a tech at Infiniti so I have the basic principles, but bikes are still a new relatively new to me
.
So thanks guys and I will be on the forums regularly now.

P.S sorry for the spelling I am dyslexic so bare with me… sometimes it get bad:(
