Airport Parking - Stanstead
 

Whats the parking situation like for bikes at Stanstead airport? Want to take the bike instead of the train for a change.

Distance from terminal? Security? Ground anchors? Roof? Bike parking zone overlooked by pikey campsite?

Pretty good, there's a Pink Elephant carpark about 5 minutes by bus away. You can pre pay by internet, bikes huddle together in one area for security, cctv and a constant flow of passengers. I was there recently ( in the car though) and noticed the bike park. No tell tale piles of glass anywhere ;)
I've no idea if there are ground anchors though. Most bikes seemed to have a cover on. Good luck :shock:

The bike park i have seen is just inside the long stay car park.

Alot of bikes there normally, never made it down there on the bike but I would have assumed you didnt pay for a bike.

The one I used was right by the terminal entrance, in the short stay car park.

Not sure what the deal is with left luggage now though. Best to check. I chained my lid to the bike and put it all under a cover.
