Working all day Sunday, and half the roads in london are closed off until 2 in the afternoon, trying to plan a route in round the closures

Was gonna go for a ride with some friends, damn Tour De France.
Tell them to put an engine on them piddly bicycle things..... On the plus side, the route is only a mile from my house, may pop to the main road to watch them. Seeing all the bicycle support cars all round the A2 area. |

May be a bit harsh.
Spud gun? |
Re: Rideout this wekend? Kent? Think again
Not really you might get the one that ran a red light just as i was going across the junction yesterday. Gave me a slight brown trouser moment as i missed his back wheel by inches.
His face was a picture though dont think he'll do it again without looking |
Re: Rideout this wekend? Kent? Think again
Theres already talk of the chav contingent throwing nails and drawing pins etc on to the road, tying sting between lamposts. I mean FFS thats not on. Ok, i dont get on with cyclists on a daliy basis, but is this the way to go for an international even t that comes to london once in a blue moon?
Outrageous! |
Re: Rideout this wekend? Kent? Think again
Really shouldn't be going anywhere near Dartford, Gravesend (not so bad), and Rochester/Chatham if they wanted to stay away from chavs.
But i really wouldn't put it past them. Water guns, super soakers, now thats an idea  (but i'd never be crude enoguh to actually do it, would be well out of order). But comical to discuss the idea  |

FFS, Our own cyclists are bad enough, no tax, no insurance and think they own the bloody roads. Now some to55er has let a bunch of froggie ones in as well.
It is the tour de france as in froggie land. tell em to p155 off back to the wrong side of cut. When they had the commonwealth games do at Manchester it was appalling that they thought they could use Rivington for the pushbikes. Perfectly good roads being used/blocked by pushbike nutters. My own cure, perfected at the age of 6 on the local coppers son is a garden cane through the front spokes as they peddle past your gate |
