Scotland this week.
A week for the textiles to be sure, but see when the sun comes out? Bloody great so it is!
Joined up with the Essex Lounge for part of their trip to John O Groats. Dicky Ticker will no doubt lead with the team phots when they get back but here's a couple of solo efforts meantime. Glenfinnan Monument at the top of Loch Shiel between Fort William and Mallaig http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...n/DSC00456.jpg On the Tomintoul to Cockbridge road (note what passes for traffic in those parts in the distance!) http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r.../DSC00484a.jpg And Loch Carron on the A890 between Auchentyre and Achnasheen, my new favourite road... http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...n/DSC00465.jpg |

Re: Scotland this week.
Ha-ha! I've done all those bits this year already. Rate them all highly.
When you get to the Achnasheen roundabout, if you hang a left to Gairloch that is a fab single tracker with wide open corners for 'making progress', feels like a go-cart track!:thumright: |

Re: Scotland this week.
Yeah, the Achnasheen petrol station should be re-opened.
Just about every bike on the route used it. Where is the last pic taken? Scratching our heads here! So far... Armadale...nah, or Mallaig...hmm, or maybe Ullapool??? help! |
