oil cooler grille.
 

Recently, I destroyed the screw holder on the oil cooler ( the loop under the oil cooler into which you bolt the grill), while removing the GRILL!! I must say that it was such a painfull task, the original screw was completly buggered and soft. so I ended up drilling it and eventually broke the holder in the process.... I figured out that It can be welded but where can I do it? and will riding without a grill ruin my oil cooler?..... any advice appreciated.

Riding without the grille won't damage your oil cooler specifically, but obviously where the cooler is right behind the wheel it's clearly vulnerable to damage from anything kicked up by the front tyre.
I'm sure you can improvise something to hold the grille in place - even if you just cable tie it on.
