Re: iris chains

Yes, they're fine, used Iris many times.

I seem to remember they're Spanish, not that that's even slightly relevant - or that there's any certainty I remember rightly of course.

Re: iris chains

Will / should the chain initially stretch and need adjusting?
have trawled around the net & iris chains have a mixed review , mileage ranging from 4k - 28k! , I guess it how you treat them , hoping to 20 k + with scotoiler fitted .

Cheers Steve

Re: iris chains

Chains are only as good as the treatment they receive - you know this I'm sure. Had more than 40,000 on an Iris chain on an old Suzuki 550, with Scottoiler of course. I'd have no problem with an Iris chain, but I'd look after it of course.

Re: iris chains

Cheers Sid , I was reading a fair few negative comments on the net re iris chains , however I recon it will be fine with the scotoiler .
