clutch cable adjustment

Hi ,
Got new chain fitted last week ,at the time asked garage to adjust the clutch cable as there was too much clutch cable play at lever , have ridden for another 500miles & clutch cable play at lever is loose , have ran out of adjustment for clutch cable at handle bar .

I know you can adjust the cable at the bottom end by some lock nuts , is it just a case of winding in clutch cable adjuster at lever & then adjusting the cable as the bottom end lock nuts ?

Do i need to adjust the clutch itself by loosen nut & tighten screw & backing out 1/3 turn or can I just adjust the clutch cable ?

Cheers Steve
