Travelling up to Invasion of the Valleys
 

Thought I'd start a new thread about meeting to travel up together.

I'm going to be travelling from Cardiff with Eviltwin. I expect he'll be on the bike and I'll be in the car, I am happy to pick up people's gear in the car if they live roughly on the way up there.

What sort of time are people planning on getting to the campsite?

V and I should reach the campsite early on Friday afternoon, we've booked the day off.

I'll try and take a half day, so I will set out from Cardiff... easiest way from there would be up the A470 and across heads of the valleys to Abergavenny and up the A40.. those going from Bristol etc can cut up from Chepstow..

I need to get new boots put on the zed in the morning and there is some strange talk coming from Sarah's direction about us needing to visit carpet shops, being as I haven't even set foot in our flat for about 6 months :smt011

Let's all bully her into being ready to leave by 1!

Was going to be pootling up the A40 sometime Friday afternoon.... now thinking about jetskiing up the M4....:!:
