Wireless question from technophobe
I have a laptop in one bedroom connected to an old NTL Modem.
 What do I need/want to be able to put the laptop in my study and have a wireless connection. I'm not looking for anything expensive or fancy, just enought to be able to easily and simply connect to the net. I looked on the PC World website, and they baffled me with Routers, ADSL, memory cards and chickens.....maybe not the last then. :smt117 Thanks in advance |
Re: Wireless question from technophobe
Option 1:
Replace your NTL modem with a modem/router that supports WifiOption 2: Add a Wifi card to your laptop, and do connection sharing.Option 1 is easiest, and doesn't rely on the laptop being on/present. |
