Brake parts- EBC pads, GSXR radial master cylinder

The things you find when you tidy, eh?

One recent model GSXR Nissin radial master cylinder, as fitted as standard to the current GSXRs. This is a popular upgrade with the SV Rider guys on the SV, though I've never tried it- it came attached to some calipers I bought. It's in great shape, I reckon it's seen very few miles. It also includes its switch, though I think the SV one would fix right on. I'm after £50 for this to your door.

One caliper's worth of EBC HH pads. Still in packaging, but the packaging's scabby, pads are fine though. I think this is a left set, but easy to check if you have a caliper to look at. These are around £25 new, looking for £15 delivered.

I'd consider the master cylinder.

What is the bore compared to the standard (pointy) SV?

I'm considering this as part of the brake upgrade which would include the 4pot conversion too.

Re: Brake parts- EBC pads, GSXR radial master cylinder

Just checked and it's 3/4 inch, which is pretty much 19mm. OE for the SVs is 5/8, or 16mm. I'm running with an 18mm Brembo and the GSXR750 Y-K3 4-pots just now, and it works very well...

One thing comes to mind though, this sticks out further forwards than the standard master cylinder, so it's possible it might clash with the front fairing... Not sure at all about that, I'll try and find out.

cool cheers, it's going onto a N version, so no fairing to worry about.

Next problem: Any ideas about where to get a mirror mount?

those HH pads are awesome!! I had em on my 03 SVS before I put on the GSXR front end and they work great!.....

......but I am using the stock SV master cylinder & I'm lookin for a bigger one & that would be perfect-- would you ship it to USA?

Just back from me hols, stuff to pick up here... It's still available but Idleater has first dibs, so I've got to get him a postage price first, and we'll see how that goes ;)

Idleater's passed on this, so it's still available- I'll give it a week or two here before popping it on Ebay.
