Floods!!
I guess you all saw it on the news and many of us were affected by them...If you saw Walmsley sub station on the news, this is what it looked like...

On photo bucket it may be. But work still blocks it. I still have the red crosses to look at.

I don't know what to say about the red crosses!!! it's weird how some can see the pics but others can't....must be something to do with network filters on some systems!!
It was very wet there! it took two fire engine pumps and two portable pumps just to keep the water at a constant level. hard work but well worth it:D |

Yes..I was there on the Moday, I have to say it was a massive opperation to save the sub-station..there were many different organisations there. Fire, Navy, Army and many other local departments..I would say it was good fun but there was a air of tension all the time I was there with the water levels being constantly monitored...Still, the job was done :D
