Free Mod- Increase Ground clearance
Managed to do this today
http://web.mac.com/robinmckeith/iWeb...08-07_1917.jpg Bummer! Looks like there's some rearsets on the way - not something i intended on spending money on. And for those who like a bit more info ;) I wasn't touching the brakes, the pegs did grind too. I'm completely stock suspension/ tyre-wise - those D220s have done over 8000 miles! Didn't even reach the end of the tyre http://web.mac.com/robinmckeith/iWeb...08-07_1918.jpg |
Re: Free Mod- Increase Ground clearance
Bummer mate, that happened to me but it didn't break off just bent it. Thats why i did my rearset mod. You should just get another break pedal, rearsets are alot of money, about £200 a pair.

£200! Bummer. The standard pegs are awful I always get my feet scraping on roundabouts as I can't keep my feet high enough! I don't want to spend £200 to find that I can't get comfortable being 6'2"! .....they would look nice in black though

It was a roundabout in all fairness. Just need to learn how to get my bloody knee down....I'd imagine I was over far enough! :)

Re: Free Mod- Increase Ground clearance
I can hang off the bike, I can corner leant over...but putting the two together?! I find it's hard to keep the bike smooth- it can wobble alot if you're hanging too far off. It feels like I lose so much speed.
