How do I get an "e" with an accent ??
I need to write an email, but in respect to my customer, I need to use an "e" with an accent over it (like the French do).
I'm pretty sure you can do it with a couple of keys on a standard UK keyboard, anybody know how ? |

Or long term click 'Start' > 'Programmes' > 'Accessories' > 'System Tools' > then right click on 'Character Map' and click 'Sent To Desktop' this will put a short cut to the character map on your desktop for quick reference! ;)

Simiilarly most UK keyboards have a € sign on the '$/4/€' key. Get it by Ctrl+AltGr+4.

if you want to type any (extended) ascii charachter, even those that are not available on your keyboard you can always use ALT + <number>.
The numbers for all possible characters can be found at http://www.asciitable.com/ for é that means ALT + 130 |
