Reading festival- campsite news
 

Just in case anyone's going and has missed this,

They're trying to convince everyone that losing a quarter of the car parking and campsite isn't going to be a problem... Get there early, that's all I have to say, get there as early as you can and don't muck about. And remember, if the spot you're looking at just seems a bit wet, if it rains heavily on the weekend the wet bits will probably flood again. Mud's hilarious till you have to sleep in it :smt013

Ahhh sweet memories - I used to work stage crew and security at Reading years ago.
I remember the year we got one of the forklifts stuck in teh mud - and the other one that went in to tow the first one out...

... and the truck that went in to tow the two forklifts out. All three stayed in thier lake of mud the whole week following the event until it had dried enough to remove them. :roll:
