Does anyone knock about around Newport? I'm going to Uni there in about 3 days so i need to learn some roads big time!

This group covers North / Mid Wales and the border lands with England. As Newport is in south Wales, you need the SouthWest Surfers group my lad.

i'm in Newport, which Uni you going to Caerleon or Altt-yr-yn?

Caerleon is by where i work and Allt-yr-yn is where i'm doing my HNC so i know the roads.

Rideout wise is Abergavenny which is about 20-30mins depending on how hard you want to push the bike. Easy to get to from either up the bypass or through Usk from caerleon and there is also the Usk to Caerleon road which has been recently relayed which takes you to Chepstow Raceourse Burger van which is pretty good.

but i find the best way to find anywhere is to put the lid on and get out.

Hang on a second ladies and gents! I don't know if we are talking about the sam Newport! The one near Telford in Shropshire! Thats why i thought it was in the correct section before hand! Either way i'm going to Harper Adams Uni
