Take your time ... especially on the U-turn ... stop, then run through a perfect U-turn in your head ... tell yourself you can and will do it ... take a deep breath (EDIT: remember to breathe out and continue breathing!), life-saver, and go for it :)

Otherwise ... relax and enjoy ... try not to see it as a test ... try to look at it as "the first of many a safe journey" that you will make on your bike on the roads :)

Oh and smile :D it does wonders for the self-confidence ;-)
