Moving On
 

Just a quick line to say thanks to the community on here.

My trusty 2000 curvy has finally gotten a little short of leg for my plans next year so I was planning on a new Triumph Tiger. It wasn't the V twin I really wanted, but seemed to tick all the right boxes anyway.

Well, my lad passed his test recently and sold his 125 on the strength of a deal he'd made with some scumbag with an old CBR400. That all fell through leaving him without transport.

So... I had to accelerate my plans a little. The SV is consequently staying in my garage (having it's wings clipped a little!), which is good cos I didn't want to let it go.

The twist is, I went to book a test on the Tiger, 99% certain I'd have one by end of the month. However!!! I spotted a shiny 3yo Ducati ST3, same colour, shape and style as the SV, BUT with a thumping great litre V to push it about. Guess what?

I pick it up on Wednesday.

My lad has joined the forum now, so keep up the good work. Thanks again for providing a priceless source of tips and info. I even bought the bike from the for sale section.
