North comes south
Scotland must be the new outer darkness.
I had always suspected this, and its nice to live on the borders with the north. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7061201.stm :smt045 Actually this could well be my fault. I was at the Lowry a couple of weeks ago and on the model to show your interpretations of the north and south regions made a line from about Cardiff to about Norwich. Sorry. |
Re: North comes south
I hate it when people call Manchester North.... Newcastle is north! Manchester is Midlands. Bah!

Re: North comes south
It still amuses me, when leaving London, to see roadsigns on the Motorway stating "The North". But they never actually tell you when you get there.
Perhaps the divide is a place where the signs saying The North meet with the roadsigns saying The South. Or the middle point between them. |
Re: North comes south
Manchester has never seen being the midlands in its life.
Midlands is birmingham to chesterfield, anything south of birmingham is south west/east.....any north of chesterfield is north/yorkshire. All in my opinion of course lol |
Re: North comes south
Ah your all north past Portsdown hill so shhhhhhh.

Re: North comes south
