Brake pads

Anyone know the best pads to get front and rear for a curvy? I heard some eat brake discs

Good afternoon.

EBC HH are pretty good all round.

A high friction pad will only wear the disc out faster if you use the extra braking they provide all of the time.

Cheers.

I use the 'green' pads, they are really soft so minimal disc wear ... they also don't need any heat to start working so good this time of year ...

Re: Brake pads

I like Carbon Lorraine A3+, but to be fair I have a fair bit more brake than an SV so the reduction in power over HH or similiar isn't a problem. They're more consistent, they last forever and they don't seem to wear discs much, all in all a good thing.

EBC HH are pretty good all round, I've been supplying them for years. However as Northwind says Carbon lorraine A3's are an excellent pad, but don't quite have the HH's sharpness.

Cheers.
