I feel ASDA are suckered

... I felt a little suckered the other day when I realised my '3 for £2' only saved me 4p ...

http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=99096

Today however I feel ASDA have messed up huge ...

Ok Walkers 'Sensations' crisps ... £1.49 per pack or £1 for two :smt103 ... er ... how does that work :-k .... :smt044

Needless to say I picked up 2 packets, not one ... and sure enough on my receipt was a 'multibuy' saving of -£1.98 ... :thumright:

Saw that offer today too....the g/f wanted to get some, until I pointed out that we are supposed to be dieting....

...so I went to the beer aisle and took advantage of the 2 cases of Kronie for 16 quid....she was not a happy bunny...

Best one I ever heard of was a mate who rarely did the shopping had to do so for some reason.

Thinking he was clever he noted the 3 for price of 2 on baked beans. So he took one can out of a four pack - ended up buying 3 for the price of 4. Wot a prize plonker!!

My mate borrowed my coat the other day and as mates do,he went through the pockets.
Glad he did ,because he found my Asda receipt and spotted that the robbing gits had charged me £32 for a tin of peas.
Marches straight back down there waving my receipt like a loon

Ah, at last one man who understands simple business and economics.

I was behind a guy in a petrol staion queue who was just buying a small bottle of coke. The guy at the till told him its only 10p more if you take 2...and the guy in the queue freaked out at him!!
Calling him a robbing git, said why should i have to buy a 2nd one? etc etc

Errrm, if you're never, ever EVER gonna buy another bottle of coke then fair point keep your measly 10p in your pocket.
but if you're only gonna buy another one later sometime then take the 2nd one you idiot!!!

Some people take good advantage of loss leaders, others get suckered in by them.....this guy was too dime to get it i think, lol.

Thats why i've got 2 MASSIVE 2kg tubs of margarine in the fridge, I only wanted one medium one but at BOGOF it means I dont have to buy any for about 2 months saving me a good few quid.
