exhaust slider? passenger-peg mounted.

...somewhere on the internets in the last week, i sawr a picture of someone's SV where they fitted a slider to the right-side passenger peg bolt. the slider was long enough to protect the exhaust can in a tip-over. seemed like a good idea.

anyone have any info on what sort of slider would work in this application?

never give it any thought but yea it does sound feasible.

You can get these from the UK. About 35 pounds.

Shows a pic of a Curvy but I think they fit pretty much any exhaust.

I wouldnt expect the peg hanger to be particularly strong, the slider on the actual can seems a better idea where the rigidity of the exhaust system itself can take the hit.

Well I agree about the look of the can slider. Just haven't seen a slider fitted to hanger. Guess you could adapt an engine slider one. Maybe.:smt102
