Re: Happy Birthday garynortheast

Thanks every one for your birthday wishes. I had a splendid time hiking with friends. There will be pictures once I've had the time to process them.

And we're back out of the mountains. Currently on the train back to Welshpool. Lots of pictures to sort through after a pretty epic hike. Pictures and a write up when I'm home and recovered.

A little ride and a near miss.

Daughter Eleri and I jumped on the bike for a ride to the Mountain Warehouse shop over near Chirk this afternoon to get her a sleeping bag liner for the hike tomorrow.

A short but pleasant ride,...

Thanks John. Birthday isn't actually until Wednesday, by which time I should finish the day with the tent pitched at around 2500ft.

Re: The All New Megathread

I think we are in trouble.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

Car insurance renewed. 1st Central were £217 last year and wanted £297 this year. Quick search via Confused.com took me to Moja who charged me........£217. I'll settle for that.
