Re: Engine Noisy, died and wont start

Bare basics-----You hear nasty mechanical noises and carry on for a few miles while noise gets worse then it just stops and won't turn over. Likely engine is fubared which is not unheard of with...

Re: Switch to swap between (restricted)A2 and unrestricted at roadside

I would think a load of odd wiring around the ecu would arouse suspicion and lead to investigation while just running the bike on a standard ecu would not be noticed by your average cop. Very...

Re: Voting

Indeed, or you can spoil your ballot if you feel strongly about it which would be a political statement too but mandatory voting would be illiberal in my view. There is already too much...

Re: Voting

I don't think it should be mandatory as not voting is actually a political act in itself. It says to the powerful that they can largely not bother with those who don't vote and concentrate their...

Re: It's HMRC gripe time again

9 minutes, is that all? When I had to deal with them last year the best I got was 35 minutes and more often 45 or so. Things must be getting better!

Re: Euro 5+ article

Most of us probably accept the need for regulating emissions from motor vehicles but I cant help feeling we have had all the low hanging fruit and got rid of the smoky diesels (two strokes) and big...

Re: Warship

It would make for very poor telly if everything worked and nothing ever went wrong though. They recently showed a repeat of the one of HMS Brave from about 25 years ago and there was the one of HMS...

Re: What is acceptable?

Kawasaki had issues when they swapped from carbs to Fi in the early 2000s with snatchy throttle response. I rode a carby ZX9R which was smooth as silk and a mate bought a new Z 1000Fi. I thought it...

Re: New member, a few questions!

RIP Phil Read

Died yesterday aged 83.
I think he was the only rider to win 125, 250 and 500 world championships.
A really nice guy too.
