Re: The All New Megathread
Interesting comparison John. One reason I went for the 800RE was the radial brakes, which are excellent. But my suspension, like yours, is very soft. Good for the potholes I'm now used to saying. |

Re: UK bike museums
Might add some of these to my list of day trips, so nice one John. I can certainly vouch for the Sammy Miller museum - went there several years ago and was amazed at the place! And a nice run down... |

Re: The All New Megathread
My late inlaws lived on Grinshill Hill, a couple of miles north of Shawbury. We were visiting the weekend Shawbury had their open day about 20 years ago and the Red Arrows used the beacon atop... |

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
Flip is it cold here today! I heard the familiar whiring of the water pump in the airing cupboard this afternoon so the heating tried to come on. I say tried, as we have no gas at the moment. Cadent... |

Re: A little ride and a near miss.
Glad you're both OK Gary. Another vote for a camera from me - a simple action camera, like the one I had on Hugh the other year, is pretty good and I've just ordered an Innov front/rear setup for... |

Re: The All New Megathread
It's cloudy but still pretty warm here, so no heating coming on for us, until this afternoon when the Cadent engineer switched our supply back on and asked us to crank it up to make sure the boiler... |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Bullseye update - 300 miles. Had a nice 200 mile day out in my quest to get the running-in done ASAP so I can use all the revs. Even with just 5k to play with the 800 is a stonking engine. 62mpg and... |

Re: The All New Megathread
It was mild here but I did get earache from the Autoglass chap about the weather before he started the chip repair on my car's front screen. Seems he's fed up with getting wet. Or cold. Or too hot... |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Made use of the rain this afternoon to move all the shelves around in my garage. Thankfully I used twinslot uprights for them all so it was a matter of moving the brackets up, down or off to fit... |

Re: Cadwell Park Celebration
I found my gaze constantly wandering back to the SV's at Kings last week every time I had to wait while Sandra did whatever she needed to do to sort my paperwork. The current model has so many nods... |

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?
I wonder if Kings will sell Hugh as quickly after he went in px last week for Bullseye. He's up on their website now - bafflingly they did not clean him before taking the pics... You'd have thought... |

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
The USB port will power the action camera until I buy an Innov dashcam. The power cables for the satnav cradle need a switched live and a ground, and on Hugh I used the horn as my feed (no... |
