Re: Vintage film cameras

Visited an antique centre today and found a Pentax ME Super for £10. Sold as not working but a fresh set of batteries the right way up and it sprang to life. Came with a 50mm f2 lens

I've just woken up from a night shift and am still tired. I read that as dying elephant at first [emoji38]

Re: The all new, slap bang up to date photo of the day 2024

We were very lucky with the weather. It rained a bit as we got there (after we'd set up the tent) and on the morning we were leaving, again it stopped just before we packed up. Would definitely go...

Re: Anyone any good with electronics and battery voltages?

Can I also ask about chargers? The charger that came with the camera has an output of 4.2v, loads of others on Amazon also output 4.2v, would these be ok? It's an Ex Pro Charger with the correct...

Re: Anyone any good with electronics and battery voltages?

Anyone any good with electronics and battery voltages?

I just picked up a Panasonic camcorder and have been looking for some aftermarket batteries. The original spec is 3.6v but most of the ones I've seen are 3.7v. Is this likely to be an issue? They say...

Re: ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz..........

I've tried the nasal strips, they do help a bit, but I've found I feel congested while laying down. I've done research too and it all points to losing weight. Seems the best solution for my wife...

Re: Vintage film cameras

Had to clean some fungus out of the lens. The glass is a little etched but should be usable.

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Yeah I'd seen that. The only way I could get a good deal on my broadband was to take their Volt deal with an O2 SIM I'll never use

I've had no trouble whatsoever with Tesco Mobile. The wife is on Giff Gaff and happy with that.

Re: Replacement car tyres and tyres labels

I think the Michelin are a little pricey for me, the Bridgestone pretty much match the ratings on my Toyos and the review I saw earlier placed them ahead of the Goodyears. Obviously the Cross...

I actually got my areas wrong, we won't be up that way until June. But hopefully that'll mean better stomping weather.

Have a look for a shop that does alterations or leather repairs.

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?

I spoke to my insurance company about why it's gone up so much and they are blaming cost of parts, labour and paint as a reason for premiums going up. Also hire car costs are killer as well. Not our...

Re: Gripe of the day - What is yours?

My Gripe is having to deal with 02. I renewed my Virgin broadband and the only way to get a good deal was through their Volt bundle which comes with an 02 SIM card. So I get the SIM and try and log...
