I looked at the all balls kit and the top seal doesn't look right, just looks like a standard seal when it should be a covering dust seal for the top of the head, not sure if it was just default...

Well if a single comment from spanner man is correct then the genuine seal would foul the tapered bearing anyway so i guess its the one with the built on seal.

everything Craig said is spot on, however there are other options, upgrades for instance, if you decide to upgrade your air filter to a serviceable item then K&N do a good filter and service kit...

I did finally, luckily it was a corner screw so after breaking the tabs off i was able to get a good angle to hacksaw a decent line into the head, once done i used a flat headed bit with an impact...

its one of the first things i did invest in, a large refill bottle and a refillable spray bottle so yeah everything thats come off so far with be either treated or replaced and treated

crosshead is completey rounded after me butchering it a lil (ooopsie) iv taken the whole airbox off the bike anyway as i needed it off to get to the green ignition plug, i guess clipping the plastic...

i have a badly corroded screw on the SK5's airbox just one out of the 7 keeping me from opening the airbox, any suggestions on how to remove it?

im a bit worried about drilling it out as its into...

Nah can only really get to one side at a time, i took it off its frame clip so i can pull it up a lil to get so wiggle room but its still pretty tight, just gonna be a poke and hope job i guess, just...

OK!!!! so after a half hearted attempt at undoing the bolts i decided to go with the ignition unplugging instead, so i have the airbox off and found the green connector BUT i cant for the life of me...

Yeah im guessing someone at Suzuki thought putting security torx heads wasnt enough and decided to weld them in with a **** tone of loctite lol

Sweet, il try the bolts first as my socket adapter came this morning, but if i get even a minor sweat on trying to budge them, il leave them in and disconnect the ignition instead, thanks guys

Is there a way of un plugging the ignition and taking it off the bike still attached to the top yoke? im gonna spray the top yoke but i could easily just mask off the ignition barrel, anything to not...

Well i have a Draper multi head screwdriver set with security torx bits in it, but being a screwdriver i just cant get the purchase to undo the bolt, so a couple of quid for a socket that fits...
