I watched this...

Re: Hardknott Pass failure.....

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Not one to put people off having what they want, but did you hoover out your PC John? If it's dusty and running hot then that will slow the cpu. Check the heat sink is tightly bonded etc?

Re: Cost of living: solved
VAT was reduced to 5% on hospitality and takeaways for covid as a business support measure. This rose in October to 12.5 and will go back up in April to the full 20%. This is why takeaways have been...

Re: P&O Ferries
If you are referring to the sit-in and 'redundancies with immediate effect' I completely agree. You cannot make staff redundant with immediate effect, there has to be consultation and compensation at...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Yes, isolate when test positive in Wales. You can get out after 5 days allegedly, but have to have two consecutive clear tests 24 hours apart - but shouldn't test until day 5. Also, you cannot go out...

Re: Smile of the day - What is yours?
Ha! My smile is that after testing positive on day 5 of isolation and continuing to test positive after that, on day 10 when I'm allowed out again anyway I tested negative.

GOTD - the price of heating oil. More than double the highest price I'd ever paid before and treble what I paid around this time last year.
It is a first world problem really, one of the causes is...

Re: RIP test rides
Dunno what counts as 'back in the day' but in 1999/2000 I was given an SV for a full day from York Suzuki. (maybe just the afternoon?) Rode it for miles and ordered a new one when I got back.
When...
