Re: Vintage film cameras

I went back to the KM seller and got the 50mm f1. 8 lens. Looks so much better than the SMC M i had on it. Slight dent in the filter ring but otherwise clean. Gave me a bit of a discount. The Pentax...

Re: Vintage film cameras

Picked up a Campro from the antique centre for decoration. It's a fine camera and projector all in one.

Re: Vintage film cameras

What would you do? The guy I bought The KM off is selling a Pentax SMC 55mm f1.8 lens that I think is it's original kit lens for 20. I have also seen a Pentax Auto 110 20-40mm zoom up the road for...

Re: Vintage film cameras

Like you say, nice but if kit but a bit of a drive from here. I know there are a couple of other orgers closer though. I have been tinkering with the film transport much on the Yashica 44 but no joys...

Re: Vintage film cameras

Just won an Olympus 35-105 f3.5-f4.5 zoom. Not really in to zooms but the short focal length may be useful. Has a touch of fungus and stuck at 35mm but hoping for an easy fix. The 35-70 I had was...

Re: Vintage film cameras

Yes its the one off Gumtree. He was also selling the 55mm f1. 8 lens for 20 but I passed on it. If you are starting to look at dslr cameras then the D3200 is pretty decent. Light and a 24mp sensor....

Re: Vintage film cameras

Couple of years back wasn't it? I have to buy a CR2 battery for one of my cameras but I can't remember what camera it was or even where it is!

Re: Vintage film cameras

The XA3 from the charity shop way back? I quite like my XA cameras, but the weak click of the shutter feels like a let down. Good for street photography though. I'm hoping the latest OM will be just...

Re: Vintage film cameras

Good choice, I was wondering what you would take digi-wise. I found another bag of Agfa Vista while moving, so my stock has been boosted. I also picked up a "faulty" black OM2n MD for 9.99 plus post...

Re: Vintage film cameras

I have no idea what that word means. Sell? I now have four OM1s, two OM2 and two OM10s. They are just a good camera, small and light and easy to use. I can either modify the om1 battery cap or remove...

Re: Vintage film cameras

This is getting frustrating. The OM2n MD I bought as faulty (sticking mirror) and that I was going to strip for spares is fully functional. Fresh batteries inside and it works fine. So, I still need...

Nice one, not had the pleasure of seeing one in the flesh. Don't really need another slr, but should really try for the set!

Got the Koni 260 back together. Finally found the sweet spot for screwing the lens back in. Just need to check rangefinder alignment next.

Re: Vintage film cameras

Runs through the camera down to the base. Mech was out of sync and is now sorted. Trying to get the lens back on, I marked it before taking it off but not the point it left the helicoil. Now trying...

Re: Vintage film cameras

If you really want to see an ugly camera then search for Airborg. Been tinkering with the Konica 260 rangefinder, it had a shutter co-king issue, the rack won't travel far enough to set the shutter....
