the PR3's are very suspension and pressure sensitive. i personally like this as it shows up week points in my suspension setup. since fettling the bouncy bits the front tyre...

the PR4's were nice but dont have that sure footedness of the PR3's.

for me i just feel more of whats going on between the rubber and the tar with the PR3's where the PR4's...

and it gets worse as the tyre wears. i noticed the buzzing reduced vastly with the new pr4 on, i still have a bit but thats due to the serviceable buttons i have on the discs that act more like fully...

now got a matched pair on the bike. what can i say.. they are superb. not quite got that glue like grip in the wet as the pr3's had but its not far off. dry grip is superb. they heat up fast. profile...

dry performance on rear PR4.. superb. a very neural tyre profile. still on PR3 front so wont know what the pair are like for a while.

well i have a PR3 thats done 5k on the front and its still round and very very little stepping and there is no cupping. my front tyre problems stopped when i got new valving for the forks.

yup PR3 is a safe bet but some people dont like the 'pulsing' on the front under braking.

having not tried the PR4 front yet i can say what its like but littleoldman2 seems to like it on the BMW...

its still a bit early to tell but my thoughts so far are that the PR3 would be an ideal winter tyre while the PR4 seems to be a bit more suited to wet/dry summer as judging by the heat generated in...

180 miles on a rear PR4, they dont have slide about till scrubbed in. its still early but they dont feel as planted in the wet as the PR3. spinning up and stepping out is very gentle with no drama....

thats good to know, i love the PR3's but i could not get on with the PR2's which i felt were wooden and skittish until warmed up properly which was around 20 miles. think i will try a PR4 rear next...

for those that have had the PR3's prior to the PR4's what's the verdict?

i'll be changing the rear when i get back from my jollys and was thinking of the PR4 but i must admit to liking the PR3...

just a little word of caution for pointy owners. the pointy does not like low rear tyre pressures and will cause a weave at higher speeds on the road. track riding is different as you can get a lot...

arrrrggg. just fitted a set of PR3's at end of season...... wish i had known i would have held off.
