I know from experience that if you use self-raising flour instead of plain in normal puds, bizarrely they don't rise. So I'm not sure baking powder will work.
I've just dug out some recipes...

yeah but do they work for yorkshire puddings? They're a bit special. They only rise because of a reaction between the egg and the salt. I'm not sure substitutes work here.

If it's heat, my old virgin router actually logged it. Might be worth looking in the logs. But that was an old superhub II. Not sure the newer ones do the same.

True, but p2p programs tend to download from many locations at once. Therefore you should still be able to saturate your download bandwidth, although you might have to fiddle with the default...
