Head finally drilled off the offending mudguard screw. Then a nut welded to the stump which screwed off neat as you like.

Neither of which was done by me - its good to have talented friends with...

It's a Warrior. Not sure where I got it from, but I just had a quick look on-line and Demon Tweeks are doing them for £40. I think I paid £28 for it so there may be deals out there. It's rock...

A slight bit of success. Right hand bolt off (eventually), so I removed the forks, but with the mudguard still attached to the left fork.

Not ideal, but I can now put it in vice and access the...

Been busy last couple of days but went out today to take the mudguard and forks off - plan was to take everything round for powder coating.

Minor (I hope) snag. The mudguard bolts are properly...

I was thinking of powder coating over painting because I thought that would be a more robust finish, and because there's a few powder-coaters near me. I'm open-minded...
